Squeeze Pages and Autoresponders - The Affiliate Marketer's Best Friends

Ready for your piece of the pie?

The autoresponder and squeeze page are two of the most effective affiliate marketing tools out there. Using squeeze pages to get conversions is an effective method that is eased by the use of an autoresponder. This strategy pays off when used for high paying conversion efforts. To start off, you'll need to write (or hire someone to write) a lot of content for your home website. Build a website that offers information about the topic of your choice. Make sure it's truly useful information. However, you’ve got to save your gems – the stuff they are willing to pay for – for your offers.

You’ll need to gather their contact information so you can start marketing to these people directly. One good strategy is to have a few free pages of content on your site, but require free registration with email address for them to see the other pages (that have your good stuff, but not your gems on it).

Now that you have an email address, you can send a valuable, informative email with more nuggets. Follow this with another email, one that provides valuable information and a free offer, one that most likely doesn't pay you all that much and won't require too much action on their part - like just entering contact info (which they've already done once, so shouldn't be a big deal.) Next you will need to send them a thank you email, with even more helpful information, and a pitch about your big offer, something that pays you well and probably requires a bigger commitment from them, like entering credit card information or signing up for a free trial period of something.

This requires a lot of content, but a professional copywriter can write your content quickly and effectively for a low cost. An autoresponder can reduce your manual labor as well, easily paying for itself over the long run.

The trick is to build trust, share good information for free, and pique interest so the audience will trust you and will try your offers.
